Joshua Chuang is the curator of Judith Joy Ross: Photographs 1978–2015, opening in April 2023 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and editor of its catalogue (Aperture and Fundación MAPFRE, 2022). He has previously held positions at the Yale University Art Gallery, Center for Creative Photography, and New York Public Library. Among his other projects are Taryn Simon's The Color of a Flea's Eye: The Picture Collection (2021); Santu Mofokeng: Stories (2019); Sun Gardens: Cyanotypes by Anna Atkins (2018); and more than twenty of Robert Adams's key books including The Place We Live (2011) and Summer Nights, Walking (2009).
